Pre-Loved, Archive and Re-Born as models of design continuity.

Tre modi in cui il design continua a esistere - 1010circle

Not all design objects follow the same path

Some have already lived, others come from past collections, while others are new yet carry small imperfections.

Understanding these differences is not only a matter of product condition: it is a way of recognising the value of design over time.

For this reason, 10 10 Circle organises its selections into three clear classifications: Pre-Loved, Archive and Re-Born.

Pre-Loved

Pre-Loved brings together design pieces that have already had a previous life.
Authentic objects, selected for their design quality, state of preservation and aesthetic relevance.

In many cases, a light patina or signs of time do not diminish the value of an object — they tell its story.

Pre-Loved allows design to continue its journey while preserving its identity.

Archive

Archive includes new products from end-of-line series, past collections or selected stock.

These are unused objects that are already part of the history of a project or production.

This category makes it possible to access quality design with real availability, often difficult to find through traditional channels.

Re-Born

Re-Born brings together new products that present slight aesthetic imperfections or minimal marks due to display or handling.

These are fully functional objects, presented with transparency.

Re-Born represents a pragmatic approach to curated design: recognising value even where the traditional market sees only excess or discard.

A selection system

Pre-Loved, Archive and Re-Born are not simply categories.

They are three different ways in which design continues to exist over time.

Organising the catalogue in this way offers a clearer reading of objects, making selection easier for both enthusiasts and professionals.

This is how 10 10 Circle interprets curated design: not producing more, but selecting better.
